We’ve had a great couple work days over the past few weeks. This past Saturday we had folks in from FBC Hazel Green, Rivertree Church, and Mission Driven Research. These guys helped us finish prepping our subfloor for final flooring, prep walls for drywall, install 3 of our 4 sliding glass doors in the guest rooms, and clear our entry property and pond to prepare for special project in the spring.
By the end of the week we hope to pass our framing inspection and then have all new insulation installed (which has been generously donated). After that it’s on to drywall. The drywall itself has also been given, so now we’re praying for the resources to have it installed. The cost for that is approximately $10,800 which we’ve seen some of that amount already come in this week. Thanks be to God for His generosity through his children!
Our goal is to have drywall completed by Christmas. We’ll take some time to rest during the holidays and come back with lots of opportunities for volunteers to serve with painting, trim, and flooring. We are so encouraged by the progress that’s happening!
