Mission

The mission of Shepherd’s Inn is to provide retreat for Christian leaders to experience rest, renewal, and care.

Shepherd’s Inn is the vision of a group of pastors who desire to see God’s leaders in the church, the mission field and in Christian ministries thrive by working from a place of rest. With over 50 years of collective ministry experience, we know what it’s like to be on the front lines caring for a congregation, serving others around the world and in our local communities.

Ministry is a calling, and it’s greatly rewarding, but when we don’t make margin to care for ourselves and our families we run the risk of burnout or worse.

We’ve seen it. We’ve experienced it. We know there’s a better way.

A Better Way

Jesus lived a sustainable rhythm of work and rest.  He modeled ministry engagement with others and purposeful disengagement to commune with the Father.  Our desire is to promote longevity in ministry by helping leaders learn to experience this rhythm themselves.

Our hope is that Shepherd’s Inn will be a place for Christian leaders to pull back from the busyness of life and ministry, find rest, experience renewal and hear from God.
