We’re painting walls at the inn now, then getting ready for cabinets and flooring. We’ve been doing our due diligence trying to find the best pricing on both and find what’s in stock which can be tricky, but we think we’ve got our numbers nailed down. The main HVAC in the lodge will be completed this week, so we’ll be able to stabilize the temperature upstairs. This will help us finish painting and acclimate flooring once it arrives. All that to say, the inn is really taking shape.
We’ve also purchased most of our kitchen appliances as well as some of the furniture that has been provided for through our Christmas at the Inn fund. We had to start this process early, because of supply, demand, and current wait times. This way we’ll have what we need when we’re ready to install rather than risk items being out of stock.
We’ve been incredibly blessed to be funded through our interior paint, and now we’re praying for funding for our next steps which are cabinets and flooring. Below are the total amount needed for cabinets as well as the amounts for each cabinet broken down by room to help create more accessible giving options. We are utilizing volunteers for installation to save money on labor costs.
Cabinets will be installed in the kitchen, coffee area, guest room bathrooms, dining room, and great room built-ins.
